Milk Jug Birdfeeder

Watch birds from your backyard with a bird feeder made from recyclable milk jugs. This craft is fun and simple for kids of all ages. Within minutes you can hang your bird feeder and watch the birds gather round.

What you will need:

  • Empty Milk Jug
  • Stick (8-10 inches)
  • Scissors
  • Wire to hang from tree.
  • Bird Seed
  1. Take clean, empty milk jug and cut two holes (large enough for a bird to reach food) on both rear sides.
  2. Holes should be about ¼ of the way from the bottom of jug. Cut 1 slit below each hole for stick. Make sure stick is long enough for perching.
  3. Decorate as desired. Fill jug with birdseed and hang from tree.
  4. Watch birds enjoy!
